AEROXLUGGAGE
The Atelier · EST. 2019

A small house, obsessed with one object.

AEROX began with a simple frustration: luggage that looked the part but fell apart. So we built the case we wanted — like an aircraft, finished like a watch — and made it in runs small enough to get right.

Why we exist

The best objects are the ones you stop noticing.

A case should disappear into the journey. It should roll without a sound, lift without a thought, and open exactly where you expect. Everything we engineer is in service of that disappearance.

We are not the biggest name in luggage, and we never intend to be. We make in small runs, sign each case, and back the parts that move for ten years. When a run sells out, it is gone until we make the next one properly.

That is the whole company: a few people who fly often, building the case they wished someone else had made.

The flight log · 2019 — today

Five years, one obsession.

2019No. 01

The first frame

Two engineers and a frequent flyer sketch a shell over a kitchen table — borrowing a monocoque idea from aircraft skins. The brief: nothing that rattles, nothing that bends.

2020No. 02

The test rig

We build a tumble rig in the workshop and run cases through the equivalent of a hundred thousand baggage-belt flights. Most early frames fail. The ones that survive set the standard.

2022No. 03

The first run

Run No. 1 — eighty cases, each finished and signed by hand. It sells through in a week to people who fly more than they're home. We make the next run properly, then stop again.

2024No. 04

The movement warranty

We put our money where the mechanism is: a ten-year guarantee on every part that moves — wheels, handle, latch. If it rolls, lifts, or clicks, we stand behind it for a decade.

We never set out to make a lot of luggage. We set out to make the one case you stop thinking about.

Cleared for take-off

Built once, on a rig that doesn’t forgive.

Before a case earns a name on its lining, it survives the equivalent of a lifetime of baggage belts. The ones that don’t never leave the workshop.

The house rules

Three things we refuse to compromise.

/ 01

Small runs

We make in limited runs and stop. No mass production, no endless restocks — a case that not everyone has.

/ 02

Signed by the maker

Every case carries the mark of the person who finished it. A name, not a serial number.

/ 03

Bought once

Engineered to be the last one you buy. A ten-year movement warranty puts our money behind it.

Signed by the maker

Every case leaves the bench with the name of the person who finished it — a mark of who stood behind it, not a serial number.

A note from the founder
“I spent fifteen years buying luggage that looked the part and fell apart. AEROX is the case I couldn't find — so we built it.”

We are not the biggest name in travel, and we never intend to be. Every AEROX case is engineered like an aircraft, finished like a watch, and made in runs small enough to get right. When a run sells out, it is gone until we make the next one properly.

I sign off on every finish before it ships. If something ever goes wrong, it comes back to the bench — to us — not to a queue. That is the whole promise, and I put my name on it.
